More about me... I live in Spokane Washington with my wife, Shirley, and our daughter Markie. Our other daughter, Daria Supp, is away at school (The University of Washington) and got married this last summer to our newest family member, Loren Supp.
About my Web site... I have put up my mini Web site for easy access for friends and family to connect together, share interests and information, and help explore the many neat areas available on the net. While you are here, please help yourself to a business card as a souvenir of your visit.
My interests are many and varied..... I work for the State of Washington at Lakeland Village, a residential facility for developmentally disabled persons. I have almost 25 years experience in this field. Recently, I helped produce a booklet for Lakeland Village about resources available to our local area. I've also helped Lakeland develop it's first web site which is only available on the web through the link here. The actual location for these pages are on the Washington State Gov Intranet and not accessible from the net, yet..With that said, you are welcome to visit just what I developed - The Lakeland Village Resource Guide Web Edition and take a tour of our services as they were when first developed. (Hint - Take the image tour.)
I am also a computer enthusiast. I am the Club President for the Apple Franklin Laser Users Group of Spokane. I have been involved with computers back to the early Apple II and currently do most of my computing on Macs. Other than my computer club activities, I am available to help new and experienced users with their systems and software. This includes page layout, web page construction, telecommunications, scanning and graphics, file translation between programs and platforms and general consulting including MS Access development..
I enjoy sports. My favorite teams currently are the Mariners ("You Gotta Love Those Guys"), the Seahawks (duh?) and the Huskies. Because of my long standing support, I am also cheering on Washington State Cougar football and basketball. I also love cheering on Daria's tennis and soccer and Markie's volleyball and basketball. Of coarse I have many other interests including biking, boating and swimming.
Another of my interests is Talk Radio. Tune it in. Why say more?
Way back in history (1964-1967) I was a member of a high school rock 'n roll band called The By Standers. The band played in northern California from 1964 to 1967. We were Gene Rapalyea, Stan Rapalyea, Jack Hartman and me. We played around northern California from Fort Bragg to San Rafael and Sebastapol to South Shore Tahoe. I still occasionally play guitar, mostly around the house, but most recently for this year's Christmas party at Lakeland Village.
